Flooring

From sub-floor structure to finished timber floors.

Two customers and a carpenter crouched on a new floor, comparing timber samples against it

We do floors from the ground up: sub-floor framing and repairs, new timber floor installation, and engineered and laminate flooring laid flat and quiet.

Bouncy floors, creaks and slopes usually start under the boards. We fix the structure first, then the finish.

Common questions

Solid timber or engineered flooring?

Both have their place. Solid timber lasts generations and can be re-sanded. Engineered is stabler over slabs and quicker to lay. We'll recommend based on your home, not a margin.

Can you fix bouncy or creaky floors?

Yes. That's a structural problem, and structural problems are what we do. We find the cause under the floor and fix it properly.

Do you sand and finish floors?
